Ingredients

General Tso Sauce

1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup beef broth
4-6 tablespoon of crushed red pepper flakes
1 inch ginger, peeled and minced, or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoon tamari
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Slurry

1 tablespoon arrowroot starch
1 tablespoon cold water
1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups of pineapple

Directions

  1. Place a saucepan on the stove; Combine all ingredients for sauce in the pan. Bring to a boil
  2. Create an arrowroot slurry and whisk into the sauce. Bring to a boil while whisking
  3. Saute Shrimp in olive oil for 3-4 minutes until cooked
  4. Add diced Pineapple to pan and saute for 1-2 minutes
  5. Combine Shrimp and General Tso Sauce
